Jake is an excellent hire for a wedding event! He played beautiful celtic guitar during our happy hour, was well dressed, on time and super professional. We also needed a band for the evening so he played twice in 1 day. It was my wedding and I wanted to play a few songs so him and his band rehearsed with me a few times prior to our event (in my opinion, that goes beyond original expectations) Jake is a talented musician, a class act through and through and very responsive. "The best decision we made..."
We hired Jake to play during our cocktail hour at our Nature-themed wedding. He was very enthusiastic about tailoring some beautiful Celtic instrumental and classical music to our theme and when it came to the big day, he arrived early, well prepared and finely dressed. He brought a gorgeous silver-grey guitar and used all of his own equipment. However, this was just the tip of the iceberg, as the original band we had booked did not work out so we had approached Jake with not much time left to see if he and his band would be available to take on a very classic-rock, Viking/Pagan-oriented, evening performance and he was absolutely thrilled about providing us with the experience and vision we imagined. My husband wanted to join in to play some songs and they took time to welcome him and practice ahead of time to give us the result of an amazing, unforgettable night fully customized to our vision. Jake's ability to coordinate, respect the vision and details, be professional and ensure a respectful, fun and organized event was exemplary. We'd hire him again 100 times over and highly recommend him for a personalized experience where you'll know it's just as important to him to give the experience of your vision as it is for you to have it.
